Paddlin' Onward
We followed a murder trail through the sewers to a giant vault door. The real highlight was Thracknar trying to make friends with the cops, which went about as well as you'd expect.
Without a paddle
Got no canoe
Watch where you step
In the sewer, we're all doomed
Got past the guards back at the dock
Without nary a weapon cocked
Thraknar had to open his mouth again
With some cops try to be friends
Murder scene's a gruesome sight
We investigate, shine lights
Find a trail to a massive door
Like a vault, thick steel's the score
You've gotta be careful, don't you know
But where the trail leads, so too we'll go
Find the Eclipse, whatever it is
Just wish it wasn't through a river
Of shit
The smell's intense, the feeling's worse
One of us fails, then we all hurl
Ari looks at us in disdain
She can't smell, so won't complain
Desperation, Aedric grabs a stone
Waves his hand, holds it to his nose
Suddenly the scent of gasoline
Cuts through the shitty smelling scene
You've gotta be careful, don't you know
But where the trail leads, so too we'll go
Find the Eclipse, whatever it is
Just wish it wasn't through a river
Of shit
Off through the sewer we tromp
Each step squelching like a swamp
Misery plain, we follow the track
Hope a different route we can take back
We come to big ol' iron grate
Spot a tunnel back a ways
Go back down and take a peek
Junk pile, three bots, oil leaks
You've gotta be careful, don't you know
But where the trail leads, so too we'll go
Find the Eclipse, whatever it is
Just wish it wasn't through a river
Of shit
Bots were shredded by some claws
Aedric steps forward to check the cause
One grabs his leg and he remembers too late
That wearing some armor would help his fate
Ari swings down her big ol' sword
Smashes metal, cuts the cord
Frees her father from its grip
He finally puts on his helmet
Turns out the bots would self destruct
With another tiny touch
With a boom the room's all junk
So down a long dirt hole we stump
You've gotta be careful, don't you know
But where the trail leads, so too we'll go
Find the Eclipse, whatever it is
Just wish it wasn't through a river
You've gotta be careful, don't you know
When there's only one path it's easy to go
Aedric gets dressed when he remembers it
Just glad we're past that river
Of shit
So much shit, can't even describe it
And what's this about a sewer core? That sounds awful
