Can't Believe It
A glassblowing hookah bar where the bartender would run our tab as long as we kept showing him something he'd never seen before. With this party, that was the easiest deal we ever made. And for the record, Jim absolutely did not get friendly with the horse.
We rolled into the glass blow
Some kind of hookah bar
Thracknar ordered four drinks
Saskue served 'em like a star
We asked about the menu
We could use something to eat
Bartender asks about our tab
Says to show him new and neat
You'd better believe it
Don't doubt what your eyes see
You'll tell your grandchildren that
You saw this history
Jasper goes up first
Asks for a deck of cards
Volunteer, pick pocketed, ring easy
Holding tongue Jasper found hard
Man starts to frown in anger
Jasper asks, is this your ring?
He scowls, and Jasper yells Tada!
And the man's impressed by the thing
You'd better believe it
Don't doubt what your eyes see
You'll tell your grandchildren that
You saw this history
Aedric's up, stands on the stage
Puts on his helmet
Yells come take it off of me
And see what you can get!
He's got some clever armor
Nothing will come off
But he gets fondled pretty good
Jim gives him a thumbs up
You'd better believe it
Don't doubt what your eyes see
You'll tell your grandchildren that
You saw this history
Thracknar stands while Jim steps out
He launches into song
About a Wizard's Staff
It's twenty verses long
The crowd's annoyed, then hypnotized
Then they just pray it'll stop
As Thracknar at last comes to an end
They hear a hoofbeat clop
You'd better believe it
Don't doubt what your eyes see
You'll tell your grandchildren that
You saw this history
Jim can't be outdone
He leads in Dave the Horse
And as he sweeps his gaze around
Charismatic, of course
The crowd seems to hold it's breath
As Jim announces bold
That he will now demonstrate
What Thracknar's song foretold
Jim steps behind the horse
A girl, despite her name
As he reaches for his trousers
Saskue screams the debt's been paid!
You'd better believe it
Don't doubt what your eyes see
You'll tell your grandchildren that
You saw this history
You'd better believe it
Don't doubt what your eyes see
Maybe don't tell your grandkids what
You almost saw today
Wait, the horse. Did Jim really? Nope!
