Toothmarks
Wei's song. He's an ancient soul who remembers standing at heaven's gate against the Dreadlord, and remembers hell after that, but he can't remember his own kids. It's about a man trying to piece himself back together from whatever the demons left.
Lost in your mind, eons old
Urges inside
Memories of hell
Now just a shell
Toothmarks on your soul
Fight to become whole
Once you stood at heaven's gate
Dreadlord rose up in your face
Draw out gleaming silver sword
One step forward for your lord
Toothmarks on your soul
Fight to become whole
Who are you, Wei? Can you even say?
Once a father, so you're told
But your kids, do you know how old?
Wake in the cell, dank, stinking death
Back down in hell
Dark demon mocks
The door unlocks
Toothmarks on your soul
Fight to become whole
Kick the door down, run down hall
Sword turns demons fireballs
Run to circle gate, see grass
Only an army to pass
Toothmarks on your soul
Fight to become whole
Who are you, Wei? Can you even say?
Once a father, so you're told
But your kids, do you know how old?
Pull up the hood
In a line stood
Crystal yellow
Demons elbow
Toothmarks on your soul
Fight to become whole
Did you fall from heaven's grace
Did you bargain away your fate
Sell your soul to yet breathe free
Found Felwar to save humanity?
Toothmarks on your soul
Fight to become whole
Who are you, Wei? Can you even say?
Once a father, so you're told
But your kids, do you know how old?
Who are you, Wei? Can you even say?
Read the book, you once were bid
Save your family, remember it?
Who are you, Wei?
Who are you, Wei?
Do you know the Way?
