Eclipsed

To Akrodaur
We went too far
Rode the train
Found only pain
Aedric needs
To free Ari
From Wisdom's grip
Take the Eclipse
As we approach
Castle's crouch
Burst of doom
The town's in ruins

Eclipsed
Hope, like reason, gone
Wisdom wins
Only fools think they can stop the end

The town's all dead
All the men
And the women
and children
Burned and blast
Turned to ash
Like Ari was
In the past
Skeletons
Rise and grasp
As we try to
Walk on past

Eclipsed
Hope, like reason, gone
Wisdom wins
Only fools think they can stop the end

We climb or fight
Push through to find
The castle gate
The Whispers ride
Dropping books
Black and bad
Eating souls if someone had
Don't turn the page
Stay away
Onward, Ari we'll try to save

Eclipsed
Hope, like reason, gone
Wisdom wins
Only fools think they can stop the end

Find the girl
Power unfurled
Through portal pass
Stay with her, Dad
Aedrick pretends
To be drawn in
But thrown away
Thracknar bursts in
Accepts the gift
Of Ari's wish
Dwarven whisper
Weave insists

Eclipsed
Hope, like reason, gone
Wisdom wins
Only fools think they can stop the end

Jim distracts
She slams him back
Says irrelevant
His past
Not part of plan
A worthless man
Just die and fade
He raises hand
He whispers no
But he can't hold
Onto his mind
And falls down cold

Eclipsed
Hope, like reason, gone
Wisdom wins
Only fools think they can stop the end

Jasper grabs the gem
He once put in
Ari screams to run
Aedric grabs Jim
Thracknar betrays
Hands Jasper page
A black book
Sinks in rib cage
Out they flee
But energy
Blasts Jim away
As they run to train

Eclipsed
Hope, like reason, gone

Eclipsed
Hope, like reason, gone
Wisdom wins
Only fools think they can stop the end

Eclipsed
Hope must come from someone else
Wisdom wins
But just for now

Someone will come to stop the voices
Stop the pain
Someone else can stop the end
We may have failed
But this is not the end
