ScavengeSpace privacy policy

ScavengeSpace is still in development. This page says what the game does with your information today, and what planned features would change. The short version for now: the current build never connects to the internet, not even to this page. The link that brought you here opened in your own browser.

ScavengeSpace is a game for Android, with a PC version planned, published by The J (that's me, MrShadowripper). This page covers the game. The website you're reading has its own privacy page.

Where the game is

The game is being prepared for testing on Google Play and is not finished. Features are still being added, so this page describes the build you can play today and is honest about what's coming.

What the game does today

It collects nothing. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics, no crash reporting, and no tracking of any kind. The game asks for no device permissions.

The game keeps one save file in its own private storage on your device. It holds your game progress and nothing else, and it is never uploaded or shared. Uninstalling the game, or clearing its data in your phone's settings, deletes it.

What's planned, and what it would share

Some features work only through the store you play on, so when they arrive, some information will leave your device. It goes to the store, not to me.

Those services handle your information under Google's privacy policy and Valve's privacy policy. I have no plans for ads, and I won't sell your information. The only time I'd share anything is if the law requires it, and since I don't hold your data, there's nothing to share.

Children

The game doesn't collect personal information from anyone, children included. Store features like purchases follow the store's own rules for younger players.

Changes

Before any planned feature ships, this page will be updated to say exactly what is shared and with whom. Last updated September 27, 2026.
