Duality (Naughty on Ice)
My how-to for building a character worth playing: give them two sides that don't agree. Our table was full of them. Wei had two souls, Steven had two worlds, Jaro had two minds, and Maeven had two hearts. Santa Ulf didn't seem to fit the pattern at all, until you counted his eyes, his ears, and his axes. Be nice.

Add in past of shame a future immaculate
And you’ve got spicy conflict should you value it
(Not where I thought you were going with that)
(What about something more exotic, like Jaro?)
If this is too tame for you then a monster race
Why not try a centaur for a crazy new taste?
Now make his god an alien here from the stars!
And two minds that don’t agree on a story arc

The key is to have conflict built inside yourself
Whether man or centaur, or halfling, a dwarf, or elf
But where’s the double purpose built into the last
