March of the Deepwrights
The album is Emeric's journal, the history of our world from before the campaign began. It opens with the Deepwrights arriving from over the sea after magic failed, with steel ships, guns, and a promise to clean the land of monsters. Promises like that always come with a price.
And lo the Elder Bane comet fell
Poisoning the waters of the Umbral Lake
The Weave severed
The Great Dying was upon Teladrimm
And then
A light of hope appeared on the horizon
From over the sea we come
Deep-fueled ships of steel and guns
Conquer this land magic drained
